Stop using a2 Platinum Premium infant formula
The a2 Milk Company recalled three batches of a2 Platinum Premium infant formula (0-12 months) because they contain cereulide, a toxin produced by Bacillus cereus bacteria. The toxin is not destroyed by hot water and can cause nausea, vomiting, and dehydration in infants within 30 minutes to 6 hours of feeding. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Stop using the product immediately if you have batch numbers 2210269454, 2210324609, or 2210321712
- Dispose of the formula or return it to your retailer for a refund
- Contact your pediatrician if your infant shows signs of nausea, vomiting, or dehydration
- Call a2MC at 1-844-422-6455 (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm ET) with questions
