Albright's Raw Pet Food chicken recipe recalled for Salmonella risk

Albright's Raw Pet Food voluntarily recalled one lot (C001730) of its Chicken Recipe for Dogs Complete and Balanced due to potential Salmonella contamination found during FDA testing. Salmonella can sicken pets and spread to people through handling or contact with infected animals. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Do not feed this product to your pet.
  • Throw out or destroy any product from lot C001730 where children, pets, and wildlife cannot access it.
  • Contact your veterinarian if your pet has eaten the recalled product and shows signs of illness (lethargy, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, loss of appetite, or abdominal pain).
  • Wash your hands and clean surfaces thoroughly after handling pet food.
