Blaine Labs Revitaderm and Tridergel wound care gel recalled for bacterial contamination
Stop using Blaine Labs wound care gel
Blaine Labs is recalling three lot numbers of Revitaderm and Tridergel wound care gel (1 oz. and 3 oz. bottles/tubes) because they may contain Lysinibacillus fusiformis, a bacterium found in the environment. The affected products were distributed to healthcare providers only, not sold in stores. No injuries have been reported so far.
- Check your inventory for the affected lot numbers: BL3608, BL3435, or BL3525
- Stop using the product immediately if you have any of these lot numbers
- Set aside any remaining product and contact Blaine Labs at the number provided to arrange return
- If you have wounds treated with this gel and develop signs of infection (redness, warmth, increased drainage, fever), contact your healthcare provider
