Shining Sea Fish Co. is recalling Ma Cohen's Kippered Herring smoked fish because some packages contain whole, uneviscerated fish that are longer than 5 inches. These fish may be contaminated with a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum, which can cause serious foodborne illness.
