IF AN INAPPROPRIATE GEAR IS SELECTED WITHOUT THE DRIVER'S KNOWLEDGE, THE VEHICLE WILL REACT DIFFERENTLY THAN EXPECTED, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN INJURY.
Remedy
NOTIFICATION TO THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS BEGAN APRIL 27, 2000, WITH INSTRUCTIONS THAT THEY CONTACT THEIR CUSTOMERS TO REPLACE THE AUTOSHIFT TRANSMISSIONS FREE OF CHARGE.
