WHEN THIS CONDITION EXISTS, IT MAY EVENTUALLY EXPOSE THE BELT WIRES WHICH COULD LEAD TO BELT DEGRADATION.
Remedy
COOPER WILL NOTIFY ITS DEALERS/CUSTOMERS TO HAVE THE TIRES REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN DECEMBER 10, 2001. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT DEL-NAT CORPORATION AT 800-489-7233 OR COOPER TIRE CONSUMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT AT 800-854-6288.
