SHOULD THE CABLE SHAFT BREAK, THE FCT TOP COULD THEN FREE-FALL INTO THE LOWER POSITION, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN INJURIES.
Remedy
CAREFREE IS WORKING WITH THE RV MANUFACTURERS TO NOTIFY OWNERS AND THE RVS WILL BE REPAIRED FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 8, 2007. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT THEIR RV MANUFACTURER OR CAREFREE OF COLORADO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-621-2617.
