IF THE LATCH MECHANISM DISENGAGED, THE EQUIPMENT BEING SECURED COULD COME LOOSE IN THE VEHICLE IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR CRASH, POSSIBLY CAUSING INJURY TO THE VEHICLE OCCUPANT(S).
Remedy
GAMBER-JOHNSON WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPAIR OR REPLACE THE LATCHING MECHANISM FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 9, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT GAMBER-JOHNSON AT 1-715-344-3482.
