Tap Worldwide, LLC — Lug Nuts May Bottom Out and Loosen
Hazard
If the lug nuts bottom out before they are properly tightened, they may come loose, affecting wheel mounting and causing a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
TAP will notify owners and will provide replacement lug nuts with shorter shanks, free of charge. The recall began October 1, 2018. Owners may contact TAP customer service at 1-888-376-1417 or by email at recallpartsassistance@4wp.com.
