Hazard
Using an incompatible valve may reduce the O-ring compression, increasing the risk of a hydrogen leak and fire.
Remedy
Luxfer will provide the customer with a replacement UFP adaptor, free of charge. Owner Notification letters were mailed April 1, 2026. Owners may contact Luxfer customer service at 1-403-720-0262.

Luxfer Canada Ltd. (Luxfer) is recalling certain Unified Fine Pitch thread adapters, model EP-O-350-8-U5 with part number K0079. The O-ring recess in the gas cylinder adapter may be incompatible with certain valve types. Using an incompatible valve may reduce the O-ring compression, increasing the risk of a hydrogen leak and fire. Luxfer will provide the customer with a replacement UFP adaptor, free of charge. Owner Notification letters were mailed April 1, 2026. Owners may contact Luxfer customer service at 1-403-720-0262.
