Dometic Fan-Tastic Vent Fan recalled for detachable lid

Certain Dometic Fan-Tastic Vent Fans may be missing a hinge pin, which can allow the lid to detach during transit. A loose lid can fall onto the road and create a hazard for other drivers.

  • Check if your vent fan matches one of these part numbers: 9610007180, 9610007181, 9610007182, 9610007183, 9610007184, or 9610007185.
  • Contact Dometic customer service at 1-888-943-4905 to schedule a free inspection and hinge pin replacement.
  • Do not use the vent fan until it has been inspected and repaired by a dealer.
Hazard

A detached lid can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the hinge pin as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 29, 2026. Owners may contact Dometic customer service at 1-888-943-4905.
