Beck/Arnley lower control arm assemblies recalled for loose ball joint nut risk
Beck/Arnley control arm recalled for loose ball joint nut
Certain Beck/Arnley replacement lower control arm and ball joint assemblies sold for 2018–2025 Subaru Forester and Crosstrek vehicles may have a loose or improperly tightened ball joint nut. If the nut comes loose, the ball joint can separate from the control arm, causing loss of steering control and increasing crash risk.
- Check if you own a 2018–2025 Subaru Forester or Crosstrek with a Beck/Arnley lower control arm replacement.
- Wait for an owner notification letter expected around June 2, 2026, or contact DRiV customer service at 1-877-489-6659 now.
- Bring your vehicle to a dealer for a free replacement of the lower control arm and ball joint assembly.
Hazard
A loose nut may allow the ball joint to separate from the control arm, causing a loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.
