Lippert shock suspension recalled for loose bolt detachment risk
Certain Lippert Curt Touring Coil Suspensions (part number 298315) were assembled with shock bolts that were not tightened correctly. Loose bolt heads and washers can detach and fall onto the road, potentially causing a crash.

- Have the shock bolts inspected and replaced by an authorized dealer at no charge.
- Do not delay — a detached bolt on the road is a safety hazard.
Hazard
Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Lippert will work with vehicle manufacturers to replace the shock retainer bolt. Owners may contact Lippert customer service at 1-574-538-4514.
