Rockford Fosgate amplifier kits recalled for fire risk
Certain Rockford Fosgate amplifier models (20GLADR-STG5, 24WRNGLR-FOX, 24WRNGLER-STG3, and 18WRNGLER-STG5) contain a 150-amp fuse that may not protect the circuit properly if a short circuit occurs. This inadequate protection could increase the risk of fire.
- Wait for an owner letter from Rockford (mailing begins August 7, 2026)
- Contact Rockford customer service at 1-800-669-9899 if you own one of these amplifier kits
- Rockford will send a replacement fuse and instructions at no charge
Hazard
Inadequate protection may increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Rockford will provide instructions and a replacement fuse, free of charge. Owner letters are expected to be mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may contact Rockford's customer service at 1-800-669-9899.
