Avride automated driving system software recalled for unexpected vehicle movement risk

What this means

Avride's automated driving system software (versions before RC-01-05) may direct vehicles to change lanes, merge, or veer without safely checking for other vehicles or maintaining distance. This unexpected movement increases crash risk.

If your fleet operates Avride automated driving systems, contact Avride to confirm your software version.
Avride will update affected systems free of charge by August 31, 2026.

Remedy

Avride will update the ADS software, free of charge. All affected ADS-equipped fleet vehicles will be updated by August 31, 2026.
