Avride automated driving system software recalled for unexpected vehicle movement risk
What this means
Avride's automated driving system software (versions before RC-01-05) may direct vehicles to change lanes, merge, or veer without safely checking for other vehicles or maintaining distance. This unexpected movement increases crash risk.
- If your fleet operates Avride automated driving systems, contact Avride to confirm your software version.
- Avride will update affected systems free of charge by August 31, 2026.

Remedy
Avride will update the ADS software, free of charge. All affected ADS-equipped fleet vehicles will be updated by August 31, 2026.
