Australian lamb shoulder recalled for lack of U.S. inspection at entry

AMD Imports Inc. recalled approximately 35,275 pounds of Australian bone-in lamb shoulder because the products were not inspected by USDA officials when they entered the U.S. The lamb was packaged by Wagstaff Canbourne between September 8 and October 10, 2014, and distributed to retailers and other distributors from a Houston warehouse. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Check your freezer for bone-in lamb shoulder with package code 730030 packaged between September 8–October 10, 2014
  • Do not cook or serve the product if found
  • Return it to the retailer or discard it
  • Call your doctor if you have eaten this lamb and feel sick
