Do not eat Crescent City Meats tasso ham
Crescent City Meats recalled ready-to-eat tasso ham products because they may be underprocessed and undercooked, posing a food safety risk. The affected products were produced in November and December 2017 and distributed to institutional customers in the New Orleans area. The problem was discovered when another processor noticed the product appeared raw.
- Do not consume tasso ham with lot codes 1631317, 1635517, 1635217, or 35217 and establishment number Est. 13244.
- Return the product to where it was purchased or dispose of it safely.
