Wegmans chicken products recalled for lack of federal inspection
Don't eat recalled Wegmans chicken products
Wegmans Food Markets is recalling about 1,125 pounds of chicken products that were produced without federal food safety inspection. The chicken was made on January 3, 2016, during unauthorized production hours. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat these products: Wegmans Italian Flavored Chicken Breast Cutlet, Brown Sugar Barbecue Chicken Breast Cutlet, Garlic & Fennel Whole Chicken Roaster, or Wokery Sherry Chicken.
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
- Check your freezer for packages with establishment number EST or P-7567 on the USDA inspection seal and use dates between 1/13/2016 and 1/24/2016.
