The Daniel Weaver Company recalled approximately 7,092 pounds of halal beef sausage products because they contain peanuts that were not listed on the label. The affected products were made on December 12 and distributed to New Jersey. Peanut contamination occurred through cumin used in production.
- Check your freezer for YR BRAND HALAL BEEF SOUJOUK or YR BRAND HALAL PARMAK SOUJOUK in 16-oz packages with establishment number EST. 669
- Do not eat these products if you have a peanut allergy
- Throw away or return the product to where you bought it
- Contact your doctor if you or a family member ate this product and has an allergic reaction
