Hormel Spiced Ham recalled for undeclared milk allergen
Throw out Hormel Spiced Ham from retail deli
Hormel Foods is recalling approximately 945 pounds of ready-to-eat spiced deli ham that was sliced and sold at retail delis in Pennsylvania. The product may contain cheese (milk), which is not declared on the label and poses a risk to people with milk allergies. The problem was discovered when deli employees observed cheese in the product during slicing.
- If you have a milk allergy and bought this product from a retail deli, do not eat it.
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
- If you have questions, call Hormel at 1-800-523-4635 (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Central Time).
- If you experience an allergic reaction, contact a healthcare provider or call 911.
