Frickenschmidt Foods beef sticks recalled for mislabeled gluten claim despite wheat

Throw out Frickenschmidt teriyaki beef sticks
Frickenschmidt Foods recalled about 5,800 pounds of teriyaki beef stick snacks because the label says "gluten free" but the product actually contains wheat. The affected products were packaged between November 2021 and January 2022. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your pantry for "HIGH PROTEIN SNACK TERIYAKI BEEF WICKED CUTZ BEEF STICK" packages with lot codes 113022, 120122, or 012823
- Do not eat these products if you have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity
- Throw away the recalled beef sticks or return them to the store where you bought them
- Call Frickenschmidt Foods at 417-232-4401 if you have questions
