Chomps beef sticks recalled for possible metal contamination

Throw out Chomps Original Beef Stick products

Idaho Smokehouse Partners is recalling Chomps Original Beef Stick Mild products produced January 13–15, 2025, because they may contain metal fragments. The company discovered the problem after two customers reported finding metal pieces in the product. No injuries have been reported so far.

  • Do not eat these beef sticks.
  • Check your pantry for 1.15-oz packages or 13.8-oz multi-packs with expiration date 02-10-2026 and lot code 25016.
  • Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
  • Call Idaho Smokehouse Partners at 208-227-5282 or visit www.chomps.com/recall if you have questions.
  • Contact a doctor if anyone has swallowed metal or feels pain in the mouth or throat.
