Whole Foods frozen pepperoni pizza recalled for undeclared pork allergen

Return Whole Foods frozen pepperoni pizza

Whole Foods Market frozen pepperoni pizzas are mislabeled. The packages say they contain beef pepperoni, but they actually contain pork pepperoni. This matters because some people are allergic or sensitive to pork. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Check your freezer for Whole Foods brand pepperoni pizza (10-oz. or 19-oz. packages) with a sell-by date between January 12, 2015 and January 30, 2016
  • Do not eat the pizza if you have a pork allergy or sensitivity
  • Throw away the product or return it to your Whole Foods store
