Atlas Meat Company recalled approximately 2,579 pounds of pork breakfast and Italian sausage products because they contain monosodium glutamate (MSG) that was not listed on the label. The products were sold at the company's Fort Collins, Colorado location and shipped to retailers in Colorado and Wyoming between October 2016 and January 2017. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your freezer for Atlas Meat pork sausage with establishment number EST. 40306 on the USDA inspection mark
- Do not eat the product if you have a known sensitivity to MSG
- Return the sausage to the store where you bought it, or contact Atlas Meat Company at (970) 224-9210 for instructions
