Do not eat Saker ShopRites empanadas
Saker ShopRites, Inc. recalled approximately 19,757 pounds of chicken and pork empanadas sold in New Jersey because the packages do not list egg as an ingredient, even though the product contains it. The empanadas were produced between October 7, 2017, and February 12, 2018. No injuries have been reported.
- Do not eat these empanadas if you have an egg allergy or are unsure of ingredients
- Check your freezer for packages with expiration dates between October 15, 2017, and February 20, 2018
- Return the product to the store where you bought it for a full refund or replacement
- Call 1-800-ShopRite (1-800-746-7748) with questions
