Johnsonville cheddar bratwurst recalled for hard plastic contamination

Throw out Johnsonville cheddar bratwurst

Johnsonville recalled about 22,672 pounds of cheddar bratwurst because hard plastic pieces may be mixed in the product. The bratwurst was made on February 5, 2025, and sold in 19-oz packages with five pieces. Two customers reported finding plastic in the product, but no injuries have been confirmed.

  • Do not eat this product if you have the recalled cheddar bratwurst (package code B9FOD, establishment number Est. 1647)
  • Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
