Safeway Fresh Food recalled approximately 717 pounds of Dole Fresh Takes Classic Chicken Caesar Salad because the label doesn't list three allergens that are in the product: anchovies, eggs, and wheat. The affected salads were produced on April 19, 2022, and sold in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. No one has reported getting sick from eating these salads.

  • Check your refrigerator for Dole Fresh Takes Classic Chicken Caesar Salad in a 13.6 oz plastic bowl with a "best by" date of 05/05/2022 and lot code S109000 1
  • Do not eat the product if you have allergies to fish, eggs, or wheat
  • Throw away the salad or return it to where you bought it
  • Call your doctor if you ate this salad and have symptoms of an allergic reaction
