Olympia Provisions Mortadella Classica recalled for undeclared pistachio allergen

Don't eat Olympia Provisions Mortadella Classica

Olympia Meats recalled about 862 pounds of Mortadella Classica deli meat because the product contains pistachios (a tree nut allergen) that are not listed on the label. The mislabeled products were made in February 2022 and distributed in Maine, Oregon, and Washington. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Check your freezer or refrigerator for Olympia Provisions Mortadella Classica with best-by dates of 06-13-2022 or 07-14-2022 and batch codes 0422 or 0402
  • Do not eat the product if you have a pistachio or tree nut allergy
  • Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
  • Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-674-6854 with questions
