Hafiz Foods chicken samosas recalled for uninspected poultry
Throw out Hafiz Foods chicken samosas
Hafiz Foods recalled frozen chicken samosas produced between May and June 2020 because the chicken used was not federally inspected. The affected products were sold in retail stores across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia, and some were donated to community organizations in Houston. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat Raza Foods or Taza Chicken Samosas with date codes 05/21, 06/21, or 0518021–0629021
- Do not eat unlabeled chicken samosas in clear plastic bags from May or June 2020
- Throw away the products or return them to where you bought them
- Contact your doctor if you or your family ate these samosas and feel sick
