Cargill Meat Solutions ground beef recalled for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination

Do not eat Cargill ground beef products
Cargill Meat Solutions recalled approximately 16,243 pounds of raw ground beef and beef patties produced April 26–27, 2024, because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. The products were sold at Walmart nationwide. No illnesses have been reported yet.
- Do not eat these products. Check your freezer for ground beef or beef patties with lot code 117 or 118 and "EST. 86P" printed on the back of the label.
- Throw away the recalled meat or return it to your Walmart store.
- Wash your hands, utensils, and surfaces that may have touched the raw meat.
- If you ate this meat and develop diarrhea, bloody stools, severe stomach cramps, or decreased urination within 2–8 days, contact a doctor immediately.
