H-E-B smoked sausage recalled for undeclared milk allergen and mislabeling
Do not eat H-E-B smoked sausage (cheddar labeled as original)
J Bar B Foods recalled approximately 11,360 pounds of H-E-B smoked sausage products because they contain milk but were mislabeled as original flavor instead of cheddar. The affected products were produced on January 19, 2019, and sold in Texas. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat H-E-B MADE IN TEXAS ORIGINAL Smoked Sausage with lot code LN2 90149 and "sell by" date 5/19/19.
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
- If you or anyone in your home has a milk allergy and consumed this product, contact your doctor or poison control.
