Bolzano Artisan Meats salami recalled for misbranding and lack of federal inspection
Do not eat Bolzano Artisan Meats salami
Bolzano Artisan Meats LLC in Milwaukee produced approximately 5,723 pounds of salami with incorrect USDA inspection labels. The products were made without proper federal oversight and should not have been sold outside Wisconsin. The company used the wrong inspection seal on packages without completing required steps to do so.
- Check your home for Bolzano Artisan Meats salami products made between September 20, 2013 and March 15, 2014
- Do not eat the recalled salami
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
- Contact your doctor if you have health concerns
