Don't eat Standard Meat Company sirloin steaks
Standard Meat Company recalled about 53,000 pounds of frozen marinated top sirloin steaks because they may contain Salmonella. The contamination came from a seasoning ingredient used in the marinade. These products were sent to restaurants nationwide and may be in home freezers.
- Do not eat these products if you have them at home.
- Throw away the steaks or return them to where you bought them.
- Look for box codes 45966 or 45968 and establishment number EST. 33861 on the USDA inspection seal.
- If you ate these steaks and have diarrhea, stomach cramps, or fever, contact a doctor.
