Throw out King Tallow beef tallow
King Tallow LLC sold beef tallow in 10.5-oz. jars labeled "GRASS FED Beef Tallow ARTISAN COOKING OIL" without federal inspection approval. The product was processed and packaged in Puerto Rico from 2023 through May 2025 without proper authorization. Although no illnesses have been reported, the USDA is concerned the product may still be in home pantries.
- Throw away any King Tallow beef tallow jars or return them to the retailer
- Do not cook or consume this product
- Call your doctor if you have eaten this product and feel sick
