Sugar Lake Farms breaded chicken breast products recalled for undeclared wheat and egg allergens
Don't serve Sugar Lake Farms chicken breast products
Prime Pak Foods recalled approximately 24,000 pounds of Sugar Lake Farms fully cooked breaded chicken breast products because the packages do not list wheat and egg as ingredients, even though both allergens are present in the food. The affected products were distributed to restaurants, hotels, and institutional food services nationwide between December 2012 and March 2014.
- Stop serving or using Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders (product code 77422) and Spicy Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks (product code 77448)
- Look for the USDA establishment number P-9165 on the box to identify recalled items
- Return affected products to your supplier or discard them
- Contact your healthcare provider immediately if anyone experiences an allergic reaction after consuming these products
