Uncle Guiseppe's and Giorgio's salami recalled for undeclared milk allergen

Don't eat Uncle Guiseppe's or Giorgio's salami

Picone Meat Specialties recalled about 5,750 pounds of dry salami products because they contain powdered skim milk that was not listed on the label. This is a serious concern for people with dairy allergies. The salami was produced between April 2016 and January 2017.

  • Check your home for Uncle Guiseppe's or Giorgio's salami products
  • Do not eat the recalled salami if you have a milk allergy
  • Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
  • Contact your doctor if you or anyone in your household consumed this salami and has a milk allergy
