Knockum Hill Bar-B-Que smoked pork recalled for undeclared soy allergen

Do not eat Knockum Hill Bar-B-Que smoked pork

Knockum Hill Bar-B-Que in Herdon, Kentucky recalled about 350 pounds of hickory smoked barbecued pork because the margarine used during cooking contains soy, which was not listed on the package label. The product was made April 11 and 18, 2014. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat this product if you have a soy allergy or sensitivity.
  • Look for white 1-lb packages labeled "KNOCKUM HILL BAR-B-QUE HICKORY SMOKED PIT COOKED BARBECUED PORK" with establishment number "Est. 18138" and expiration dates of April 25 or May 2, 2014.
  • Return the product to the place of purchase or discard it.
  • Call your doctor if you experienced an allergic reaction after eating this product.
