Clemens Food Group pork ribs recalled for undeclared peanut allergen
Stop consuming Hatfield Smokey Chipotle ribs
Clemens Food Group recalled approximately 42 pounds of Hatfield Smokey Chipotle Dry Rub Seasoned St. Louis Style Ribs produced on December 20, 2014, because the spice seasoning may contain peanut that was not listed on the label. The contamination was discovered by the spice supplier and reported to the USDA. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not consume products with code #4109 (two 20-lb. cases) containing code 354 packages
- Check if you purchased these ribs from New Jersey or Pennsylvania retail locations or the Clemens employee store
- Discard the product or return it to the retailer
- If you have a peanut allergy and consumed this product, contact your healthcare provider
