Throw out Members Mark canned chicken breast
Tony Downs Food Company recalled approximately 96,384 pounds of Members Mark canned chicken breast products because they may contain hard plastic pieces. The affected items were produced in late November 2017 and distributed to stores nationwide. No injuries have been reported, but the company discovered the problem after receiving two consumer complaints.
- Do not eat the affected Members Mark canned chicken breast products.
- Check your pantry for 12.5-oz. or 50-oz. cans with lot codes 17333 or 17332 and use-by dates of Nov. 29, 2020 or Nov. 28, 2019.
- Throw away the products or return them to where you bought them.
- Contact your doctor if you have swallowed hard plastic or have concerns about your health.
