Do not eat Pilgrim's Pride cooked chicken
Pilgrim's Pride Corp. recalled over 5 million pounds of fully cooked chicken products produced between May 2015 and December 2015 because they may contain pieces of plastic, wood, rubber, or metal. Affected products include Green Dragon and Gold Kist Farms branded chicken nuggets, strips, and diced chicken with various sauces sold in bulk boxes. No injuries have been reported.
- Check your freezer for any of the recalled products listed by brand (Green Dragon, Sweet Georgia, Gold Kist Farms Menu Right).
- Do not eat or serve the recalled chicken products.
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you purchased it.
- Call the USDA's toll-free hotline at 1-888-SAFEFOOD for a complete list of recalled items and production dates.
