Pilgrim's Pride chicken wings recalled for potential metal contamination

Do not eat Pilgrim's Pride chicken wings

Pilgrim's Pride Corp. recalled over 5.5 million pounds of fully cooked chicken products, including Pierce Chicken Wing Zings and Sweet Georgia Brand chicken wings, because they may contain pieces of metal. The contamination was discovered in products produced between July and September 2015. This is the third expansion of a recall that began in April 2016.

  • Check your freezer for Pierce Chicken Wing Zings or Sweet Georgia Brand fully cooked chicken wings with pack dates of July 11, September 15, or September 16, 2015
  • Do not eat these products; throw them away or return them to the store
  • Contact Pilgrim's Pride or your store if you have questions about affected products
