H & B Packing Co. boneless beef recalled for E. coli O103 contamination

Do not eat H & B Packing boneless beef

H & B Packing Co. in Waco, Texas is recalling approximately 79,461 pounds of boneless beef products produced on March 6, 2017, because they may be contaminated with E. coli O103. The contaminated products were distributed to food manufacturers in Texas. The contamination was discovered when a sample tested positive for this strain of E. coli.

  • Do not eat these products if you purchased them.
  • Throw away the recalled beef or return it to where you bought it.
  • Cook all raw beef to an internal temperature of 160°F to kill harmful bacteria.
  • Seek emergency medical care if you develop bloody diarrhea, vomiting, or difficulty urinating.
