Target frozen beef and poultry products recalled for temperature abuse during shipping to Hawaii

Do not eat Target frozen meat products from Hawaii

Target Corporation recalled frozen beef and poultry products sold at one store in Honolulu, Hawaii between March 23–27, 2018, because they were exposed to temperatures above 60°F for more than five hours during shipping. This temperature abuse can allow harmful bacteria like E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus to grow.

  • If you bought frozen beef or poultry from the Target store at 1450 Ala Moana Blvd, Suite 2401, Honolulu, HI 96814 between March 23–27, 2018, do not eat it.
  • Throw away the affected products or return them to Target.
  • Seek medical attention immediately if you have symptoms like diarrhea, vomiting, fever, or abdominal pain after consuming these products.
