Don't eat Aux Delices des Bois or Chestnut Valley meat products

Transatlantic Foods, Inc. produced approximately 222,000 pounds of pork and chicken products (bacon, sausages, and duck fat) without proper USDA food safety inspection. The company used approved facility labels from Scranton, PA on products actually made in an uninspected facility in Andover, NJ. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Check your freezer for Aux Delices des Bois or Chestnut Valley branded bacon, sausages, or duck fat with pack codes T-001 to 365, H-001 to 290/365, or F-001 to 136
  • Do not eat these products
  • Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them
  • Contact the store or Transatlantic Foods if you have questions
