PFP Enterprises beef products recalled for lack of federal inspection
Do not eat recalled PFP Enterprises beef
PFP Enterprises LLC (also known as Texas Meat Packers) recalled approximately 7,146 pounds of raw beef products produced on March 23–24, 2018, without federal food safety inspection. The affected items include vacuum-sealed packages of diced beef skirt for tacos, preseasoned beef for fajitas, and fajita-seasoned beef steaks. These products were distributed to institutional and commercial buyers in nine states: Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.
- Do not eat any of the recalled beef products listed in this notice
- Check your freezer for packages with establishment number EST. 34715 and pack dates of 03/23/18 or 03/24/18
- Throw away the recalled products or return them to the store where you bought them
- Contact your doctor if you or a family member ate any of these products and feels sick
