Don't eat North Country Smokehouse pork sausage

North Country Smokehouse is recalling approximately 1,488 pounds of pork sausage products because the label says "gluten-free," but the product actually contains wheat gluten. Wheat is a major allergen. The affected products are 12-ounce vacuum-sealed packages of "Natural Irish Brand Banger Brusha" with a use-by date of 04/15/19 and establishment number "EST. 5390A."

  • Check your freezer or refrigerator for the recalled product (12-oz packages, use-by 04/15/19)
  • Do not eat the sausage if you have a wheat or gluten allergy
  • Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
