Butterball LLC is recalling approximately 78,164 pounds of raw ground turkey products that may be contaminated with Salmonella Schwarzengrund. The recalled products were produced on July 7, 2018, and were sold at retail and institutional locations nationwide. The contamination was discovered during an investigation of a multistate outbreak linked to this product.

Do not consume the recalled ground turkey products listed in this recall.
Check your freezer for any of the recalled Butterball, Kroger, or Food Lion ground turkey products with lot code 8188 and a sell-by date of July 6 or 26, 2018.
Throw away the product or return it to the store where you purchased it.
Call Butterball at 1-800-288-8372 if you have questions.
Contact your doctor if you develop diarrhea, abdominal cramps, or fever within 72 hours of consuming this product.
