ATM International USA beef products recalled for lack of import inspection
Check for recalled Japanese beef imports
ATM International USA in California recalled approximately 1,999 pounds of boneless beef that was imported from Japan without proper U.S. inspection. The meat was imported between October 2014 and January 2015 with labels in Japanese only. Products included various cuts like tenderloin, strip loin, ribeye, and others, shipped to retailers and distributors in Arizona, California, and Washington.
- Check packaging for Japanese establishment number 'M2' or 'EST.27510' and box marks 'MZA-TN41,' 'MZA-TN28,' or 'MZA-TN1'
- Do not eat beef with Japanese-only labels from this recall period
- Return or discard the product to your retailer
