Do not eat Procesadora La Hacienda corned beef
Procesadora La Hacienda, Inc. recalled approximately 4,940 pounds of ready-to-eat corned beef products produced on February 28, 2019, because they may contain metal fragments. A school in Puerto Rico found metal embedded in the product. No injuries have been reported.
- Do not eat this corned beef if you have it.
- Check your freezer or refrigerator for packages with lot code 022819 and expiration date 042919, with establishment number EST. 21217A on the USDA inspection seal.
- Throw away the product or return it to the place of purchase.
- Contact your healthcare provider if you have eaten this product and have concerns.
