Ruiz Foods sausage recalled for undeclared soy allergen

Don't eat Ruiz Foods sausage product

Ruiz Foods recalled approximately 59 pounds of Egg Sausage and Cheese Wrapped in a Flour Tortilla because the product contains soy but does not list it on the label. This is a serious concern for people with soy allergies. The affected product was produced on February 4, 2015 and distributed to institutional customers in Indiana.

  • If you have this product and have a soy allergy, do not eat it.
  • Return the product to where you purchased it or contact Ruiz Foods at (800) 772-6474.
  • If you or someone else has an allergic reaction, contact a healthcare provider or poison control.
